Please note that Manchester City applies a tourist tax of £1 per night, per room, known as the City Visitor Charge. This supports the local Accommodation Business Improvement District (ABID). Road closures and traffic restrictions will affect areas surrounding The Midland Hotel, including Peter Street, Deansgate, Oxford Street and nearby city centre roads. Closures will begin from early morning, with some restrictions in place overnight from Saturday 30 May.

Guests travelling by car should allow additional travel time, as vehicle access to the hotel and nearby car parks may be limited throughout the day. Walking access to the hotel will remain available.

Please note that our usual recommended city centre car parks, including Q-Park First Street, NCP Manchester Central, and NCP Great Northern are expected to have limited or no vehicle access during the event due to surrounding road closures.

Disabled parking / Blue Badge information:

The disabled parking bays on Mount Street directly opposite the hotel will be suspended during the event.
Guests requiring accessible parking are strongly advised to pre-book parking outside the main closure zone.
