Leonardo Boutique Hotel Berlin City South

What we liked? This was our 4th time stay in this hotel. We like the hotel very much in general, i.e. staff, breakfast, location and cleanliness. Moreover this time I must mention that there was a Receptionist (I think her name is Joice) who was exceptionally service minded and helpful from every corner! For example, during our previous stays there was no Receptionist has ever told us about Leonardo Club membership so we did not know about it at all. We always used the Bar every night but never benefitted the discount (breakfast we always paid with the room)! This time, the moment we booked the hotel, Joice informed us about it saying we can use the membership for getting discount on food, bar and even room booking (if doing on hotel website), that was very impressed, and she can help us in joining after we arrived! Though we found all other Receptionists during previous stays & this time were kind but did not find as service minded-so not only about membership but if we ask something simple like about a location, or opening hours (due to Easter), they just washed their hands of giving answers like I don't know, which we were surprised! But, anything we asked from Joice she went beyond her limit, found details on the net and provided everything she could-this is called service minded & guest service in the hospitality industry! I myself have worked in a few 5 star hotels, so I know what is to be in the hospitality service! So, truly Joice is an asset to the Leonardo Boutiqe hotel, and we wish her all the best! Breakfast-we like the breakfast at the hotel, that is one of the reasons we booked for the 4th time. Location-we also like the location & the area (though not many restaurants close by) - we like the area though we have to walk 10 mts. for the U bahn, and have just 1 restaurant close to the hotel. Most importantly we can find free Parking in the area, which is 1 big reason to choose! What need to be improved? Coffee Machine should be changed - it looks simple but it is not working properly, if worked you get coffee only 1 cm of the cup. Also, no possibility to ad milk, neither provided coffee cream. Price - if can keep the price little low that would be great since we found room with breakfast have increased a lot! At least if you provide a discount (even if book via Booking.com) or breakfast incl. for the Leonardo Club members that would be helpful!

The front desk associates are extremely polite and helpful, in particular Mr. Ali who was exceptionally welcoming, professional, and attentive from the moment we arrived. Every question was handled with patience and genuine kindness, making the entire visit smooth and enjoyable. It’s rare to encounter such warm and thoughtful service.

We have been in this hotel lately every time we have visited Berlin. The staff in very friendly and we always appreciate the way how the greet regular guests welcome. The rooms are clean and practical. There is a fridge, water cooker and even a modern capsule coffee machine. I do not especially like bath tubs, but in some rooms there is a shower. The location might be not for everyone. The airport, however, is near and the public transport works efficiently. Next booking there is in March.
