Came for Oktoberfest - well connected hotel so it's close to everything but still quiet and not right in the action which was a nice balance. Small quirks were that the wifi could be inconsistent; we couldnt' close the door to the bedroom because the bed was in the way, and the shower drain was a little slow at draining. All in all, the hotel was clean, well kept, all the staff were very friendly, and I would recommend to anyone who wants a good place to stay.

Enjoyed Oktoberfest way too much and he made getting another day very easy to sleep off the hangover.

My overall review is everything you need is at this hotel. Very clean! Smiles greet you at reception. Washing machine at hotel. Very close to everything, including UBahn. AC works great! (Which is unusual for Europe). Special mention to Stephane who is a top notch reception representative! Thanks! I will stay many more times and not anywhere else.

Superb hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Excellent food and drink and attentive service in both the bar and restaurant. A lovely stay. Easy access to public transport routes with 2 x metro stations within a 5 minute walk.

I stayed for two nights and the location of the hotel was really great - residential but still with enough restaurants and shops. A village feel to the surrounding was certainly very helpful. The hotel itself was very nice - the staff and the fact that you could ask for the room not to be cleaned every day was useful - specially as I was only there for two nights. The bed was comfortable, the amenities within the room were very good - tea, wifi etc... bathroom. no complaints at all all - and indeed a very nice stay. Thankyou!

Close to centre. Food in the area within walking distance. Clean and tidy.

Nice hotel, good location, the bar and restaurant were both closed during our visit which was very poor considering the hotel advertised these amenities, breakfast check is convoluted and should be done at check in to save large line waiting to go in. Would visit again but could be improved.

The room is very well designed with several different areas, making it seem larger than it is. The staff on reception are all friendly and helpful. Breakfast is plentiful and good quality, and the staff work hard to keep it well supplied even at very busy periods. The hotel is situated in a quiet area, close to the subway. It was lovely weather while I was there, so I walked the 2.5 miles into the centre on both days and found a good route that took me beside the river for some of the walk.

Hotel well connected to the city center, and just a short walk from metro, which makes moving around really convenient. Breakfast was not included and quite expensive considering the room price. The bathroom had no windows, and the sofà bed was a bit uncomfortable

Thank you for the nice stay. It was possible to get a room with a kitchen, since it was staying for two weeks. The receptionist helped me out without any problems. The condition of the room was a bit worn, spots on the carpet and the leather of the headboard was peeling off and falling on the pillows, which felt a bit unhygenic. The cleaning staff came every day (not all hotels offer this service anymore). The staff was friendly and conmplimentary water helped me feel like home. Overall a good stay, thank you very much. Z. We spent 18 days at the hotel. It exceeded our expectations.

This hotel offers a clean and pleasant stay in the south of Munich, with easy access to the attractions via public transport. There are plenty of shops and amenities walking distance from the hotel. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay. Our room had a balcony with a table and chairs which was lovely. The room was clean and the bed was nice and comfortable. The pillows were a little uncomfortable. The staff at reception (one guy in particular who was very entertaining) were helpful and welcoming. The location was great. The subway is just around the corner and the city is only three stops away. Breakfast was adequate but not exciting and the breakfast staff were not overly friendly.

Leonardo architects did a great job of space usage. There is a lot of storage space tucked away. The rooms are very ample in size, clean and well appointed, especially for the price. Breakfast was abundant, and varied, and the space was enough not to be too crowded. Thanks you for a wonderful stay.

Great hotel for a citytrip. Located very near the U-Bahn to the centre, in a nice neighbourhood!

Very good location! Around the corner was u-bahn station, very near also cafes and bakeries, few shops(penny on the corner, a litle further edeka...). We had nice room, master bed very comfortable, bud the sofa-bed was not so. We had coffee machine (with capsules)in the room, and small kitchen facilities.

I lived 3 weeks on this hotel in 2002 and one weekend in 2005 and it is nice to see the development of the hotel. Really nice with balcony. The only negative thing is that it can be very long waiting times for elevators during checkout hours.

We are staying at the hotel for the second time. We like everything very much. We will come again!

On the day of check-out, an employee knocked on the door at 8:40 in the morning, immediately opened the door and entered the room and said: You are checking out today. So different from the other friendly staff.

Good hotel with excellent traffic links. Disappointingly, the bar was closed for the whole of our visit; 4 nights. My wife is disabled & we picked this hotel because of its location as well as it having a bar as she has limited mobility. The plan being we would do all the relevant site seeing during the day and retire back to the hotel around 5pm. Once back at the hotel we were limited in what we could do, we could either get a beer from the vending machine or spend the evening in our room!

I recommend the Leonardo Hotel & Residenz München due to the very close location to the u bahn .The rooms are quite clean and spacy .Τhe beds are comfortable and there is enough quietness for an enjoyable sleep. I had an excellent stay .

Good hotel close to train station. Little quiet because on outskirts of town. We enjoyed the room!

Leonardo was perfect. Clean, spacious, great shower, comfortable bed, helpful staff and right be a train station to connect you to everything.

Positive: Very good location near the metro station, very quiet and safe neighborhood, clean Hotel with a discrete sense for security, excellent room with kitchenette, surrounded by trees, Hotel staff always ready to assist (special thanks to Ms Alice for exemplary professionalism and friendliness). Suggestions for improvement from our experience: 1. Review the shower water mixing battery design. Although it is aesthetically attractive, it may cause some problems in controlling the temperature of the inflowing water due to: The small diameter, the lack of grip, the stiffness of the knob for the control of the water flaw (with hands in soap), the almost illegible temperature calibration markings, and the unavoidable delayed response of the system to an empirical temperature control attempt. A short term solution maybe the insertion of one or two inox screws into the controlling knobs plus some short but well written instructions. 2. The round glass table by the bed proved beautiful, albeit fragile once my wife fell on the edge of it. Luckily, the broken glass did not seriously hurt her.

We were tired after a long journey. We were greeted very friendly and immediately offered a room. The room was clean, a great view, there is a balcony. Also very important, the room has drinking water, a kettle, a coffee machine, as well as coffee, tea. The beds are very comfortable, so you feel rested after a long walk.

Fab hotel with excellent breakfast and super helpful staff. Consider installing a grab bar in the shower cubicle for safety reasons.

Very good and clean hotel, located near the U station three stops from the center. The breakfast was very satisfactory. The only problem was with the sofa-bed that needs to be thrown out, also the family room in the fifth floor is too tiny for four people.

I got so many good advices and information from front desk receptionists, all are friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and not complex. I quite enjoy everything, also there is a microwave in the room and coffee maker. Moreover, it would be the best if there are some plates and cutlery available in the room.
