Not much to say apart from excellent/warm/friendly

We stayed at the Leonardo as a family of 4 during October half term break We were impressed with the hotel the location, rooms, staff etc. Breakfast was fab, everything on offer even a chocolate fountain!! We were half board so evening meal was included but I was not so impressed. For me it was variety, the fist couple of evenings was fine then I got a bit bored. It would have cost us 18 euros pp (not sure if there was a kids price) I think I would have preferred to eat outside. Having said that the kids thought it was great the chocolate fountain was there again with all the sweets and bits. The only other thing to point out is the swimming pool, it was very small, compared to the size of the hotel, in the summer you would be fighting for a bed and even to swim in it. My daughter went in it, not sure if it was supposed to be heated but it wasn't on the day she tried it needless to say she was in and out in within minutes. Overall this was a lovely hotel and I would happily recommend it to friends and point out the two things I mentioned, most people eat out anyway and the sea is a stones throw away.

Lovely hotel and staff. Great location. Room 932 had a lovely view from the balcony. Only negatives where the pillows a bit flat and hard and the finish in the toilet needs a bit of TLC but would definitely recommend this hotel

I had a great stay this weekend for 2 nights, staff were absolutely fantastic on reception especially Vanessa. I wouldn't hesitate on returning.

The hotel is modern, the rooms with sea views are the best. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is the best feature, walking distance from great restaurants and shops, and the sandy beach is just across the road.

Booked a deluxe double sea view room. Views from 11th floor were amazing. Hotel is very central to all of Fuengirola's bars and restaurants and directly overlooks the harbour and nearby beach. Room was well equipped and spotlessly clean. Valeria on reception gave us a very friendly welcome. The bed was so comfortable we slept like babies. The pool area is nice but in November only saw limited sun due to other buildings and the water was a bit too cold for my liking. Overall, really good hotel and would definitely use again.

Overall happy with the Hotel the only thing I would complain about is the paid parking. The state of the garage was not what I would expect at the price of 20 euro’s a night Very few marked bays . It is obviously going through changes but this should have been explained. On a final note I would happily return.

I would highly recommend this hotel. My husband is a wheelchair user and the room we had was adapted to a high standard. The location is ideal, only one minute from the very long promenade. Fuengirola is ideal for anyone disabled, families and couples. The staff were the best we have ever met and always had a smile 😃 . Breakfast was good.We were B&B. Hope to go again..

Hi, Our stay at the Leonardo Fuengirola was very good except for the comment below about the Spa area. I hate to complain but today experience at Calma was very poor. Both Sauna and steam room were switched off/ at very low temperature. I informed by the lady at the desk they take 10 minutes to heat up they actually took 40 minutes to heat up. The sauna is off poor standard, boards coming off the wall near heating unit, nails protruding on wooden seat which may cause harm to a client. Dirty perspect glass above swimming pool area, Dirty nozzle on jet water pipe. The attendant was quick to point out that I had 10 minutes left it's a pity that attention to detail wasn't evident with the sauna and steamroom.

Amazing hotel, friendly, helpful staff, beautiful room with a great view. Carolina the restaurant waitress is an amazing asset to this hotel, me and my mum looked forward to visiting the restaurant just to see Carolina's beautiful smile and great service/interaction. Sergio the restaurant manager was also amazing and made sure we had a variety of vegetarian options as there was no halal menu, he even made the chef cook us fresh fish, nothing was to much. The spa was also an amazing experience, can't wait to come back with my whole family.

A lovely hotel, we would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

Good holiday in December with 14 friends, nice hotel and nice staff. However, some of us had checked into the hotel from home, but it didn't go faster because we were the last in the group to get our room. Wellness at the hotel is delicious, however the sauna was not switched on as we had hoped, while we were enjoying the water the staff had switched on the sauna, but forgot there was a bucket on the stove, this resulted in flames throughout the sauna and we had to throw water in to stop it. We are in Furengirola several times a year, we will keep an eye on the hotel's prices as it is a very good hotel just in the place we like.

Well, your Hotel did not dissapoint. We felt at home as soon as we arrived. We checked in on line and had a speedy arrival to our room (Great idea) Our room 822 didnt disapoint us the view was spectacular! Always cleaned and fresh Towels when we needed them. A Wonerful Location and we will return.

Javier helped me with my booking when l encountered a problem..he sorted it out in a calm and very professional manner..also Isabel in restaurant was very pleasant..we had a very pleasant stay because of your friendly staff.

We liked the stay and here are 3 things to improve: - in our junior apartment 916 the shower was changing from hot to cold in circle so we needed to be very carefull when showering because the hot water could heart us - there was strange smell coming from the bathroom after using the shower - there was noice of water from the toilet splash going down the pipes from the room probably above us. Bit annoying and not nice in such special apartment

For start to finish the staff within the reception staff at the hotel could not have been more professional, friendly or accommodating. The breakfast selection and quality were excellent, the breakfast staff were so efficient and hardworking. The housekeeping staff were through and dedicated to ensure that we were happy with our room. I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to any future travellers. The location is so central and as one of our party was in a wheelchair I can confirm that for a wheelchair user the hotel is completely accessible and very comfortable- we will definitely be returning soon.

Hotel was great, super location and in very good condition. We booked a Deluxe room and were given 1032. Not sure if all the rooms (standard and deluxe) are the same but certainly we had amazing views at the corner and facing the sea. Only problem is, at the end of the corridor is the service room for housekeeping and each morning we were woke by the staff slamming open the squeaky door in to this room, mops and brushes falling etc. Minor, I know, but still unnecessary and frustrating. I have a group of 8 people retuning in 6 weeks time and will certainly try to avoid rooms adjacent to the housekeeping service rooms.

Hotel suitable for our short break. Very clean, great location. Had one unfortunate incident at 5.20 in the morning - Russian guest next room completely drunk knocking on our door. Reception handled it well - but it spoiled our night.

Hotel has good location near bus/train station and stones throw to the beach.Hotel very well kept and clean.All staff were pleasant and friendly.Room was clean and comfortable with WiFi and smart TV and tea/coffee facilities.Wouldnt hesitate to stay again.

The hotel is in a great location. Our room, facing the sea was fabulous. Spotlessly clean. The bar area was disappointing, not very inviting. But lots of nice bars in the area. Nice restaurant, good choice for breakfast.

We enjoyed very much our stay at Hotel Leonardo. It had been chosen because of its location and good reviews. All staff members very friendly and helpful. Our room was nice and pleasantly decorated. Although the beds were comfortable, I personally would have added a memory foam mattress topper to them. All in all, we'll be definitely back!!

Everything was good

The hotel is in a great location and the rooms with a sea view are amazing to watch the sunset from. It's very central and easy to get around Fuengirola from. Rooms are more than adequate and I was impressed with the value for money as I live in Manchester UK and you'd be hard pushed to find a room for even four times the amount of the Leonardo and that would be on a low demand night!

We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel, food and staff. We will definitely come back there especially because of the staff, as I said before, Giulia was the best. I even felt sorry when we left and knew we won't see her, our little boy, after meeting her, wanted to stay longer because of her. Its great how she managed to get so close to him in such a short time. Vicky and Loly were also great. Thank you guys, we will definitely come back.
