Overall...I was delighted that I selected the Leonardo to stay in....within walking distance of most good Restaurants..& Bars...nice staff....when I booked through Booking.com i got a fairly good deal...E413 for 4 nights....but when I enquired about staying an 3 extra days...and changing my return flight....the price I got from Reception ...would have cost me much more..approx. E600 ...so I just stayed the 4 days. Then flew home...But I was very happy for the 4 days there...and I would have no hesitation in staying in the Leonardo again and recommending it to friends

Lovely clean hotel in a great location. Amazing views from the deluxe sea view rooms. Very friendly helpful staff. The WiFi wasn't brilliant but it wasn't a problem. The food at breakfast was a little disappointing as the temperature of the hot food was only lukewarm. We only ate in the restaurant once. We have stayed in this hotel three times and will book again in the future.

We stayed at the Leonardo as a family of 4 during October half term break We were impressed with the hotel the location, rooms, staff etc. Breakfast was fab, everything on offer even a chocolate fountain!! We were half board so evening meal was included but I was not so impressed. For me it was variety, the fist couple of evenings was fine then I got a bit bored. It would have cost us 18 euros pp (not sure if there was a kids price) I think I would have preferred to eat outside. Having said that the kids thought it was great the chocolate fountain was there again with all the sweets and bits. The only other thing to point out is the swimming pool, it was very small, compared to the size of the hotel, in the summer you would be fighting for a bed and even to swim in it. My daughter went in it, not sure if it was supposed to be heated but it wasn't on the day she tried it needless to say she was in and out in within minutes. Overall this was a lovely hotel and I would happily recommend it to friends and point out the two things I mentioned, most people eat out anyway and the sea is a stones throw away.

Lovely hotel and staff. Great location. Room 932 had a lovely view from the balcony. Only negatives where the pillows a bit flat and hard and the finish in the toilet needs a bit of TLC but would definitely recommend this hotel

Fabulous hotel friendly staff great room

I had a great stay this weekend for 2 nights, staff were absolutely fantastic on reception especially Vanessa. I wouldn't hesitate on returning.

The hotel is modern, the rooms with sea views are the best. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is the best feature, walking distance from great restaurants and shops, and the sandy beach is just across the road.

Booked a deluxe double sea view room. Views from 11th floor were amazing. Hotel is very central to all of Fuengirola's bars and restaurants and directly overlooks the harbour and nearby beach. Room was well equipped and spotlessly clean. Valeria on reception gave us a very friendly welcome. The bed was so comfortable we slept like babies. The pool area is nice but in November only saw limited sun due to other buildings and the water was a bit too cold for my liking. Overall, really good hotel and would definitely use again.

Overall happy with the Hotel the only thing I would complain about is the paid parking. The state of the garage was not what I would expect at the price of 20 euro’s a night Very few marked bays . It is obviously going through changes but this should have been explained. On a final note I would happily return.

I would highly recommend this hotel. My husband is a wheelchair user and the room we had was adapted to a high standard. The location is ideal, only one minute from the very long promenade. Fuengirola is ideal for anyone disabled, families and couples. The staff were the best we have ever met and always had a smile 😃 . Breakfast was good.We were B&B. Hope to go again..

Hi, Our stay at the Leonardo Fuengirola was very good except for the comment below about the Spa area. I hate to complain but today experience at Calma was very poor. Both Sauna and steam room were switched off/ at very low temperature. I informed by the lady at the desk they take 10 minutes to heat up they actually took 40 minutes to heat up. The sauna is off poor standard, boards coming off the wall near heating unit, nails protruding on wooden seat which may cause harm to a client. Dirty perspect glass above swimming pool area, Dirty nozzle on jet water pipe. The attendant was quick to point out that I had 10 minutes left it's a pity that attention to detail wasn't evident with the sauna and steamroom.

We liked the stay and here are 3 things to improve: - in our junior apartment 916 the shower was changing from hot to cold in circle so we needed to be very carefull when showering because the hot water could heart us - there was strange smell coming from the bathroom after using the shower - there was noice of water from the toilet splash going down the pipes from the room probably above us. Bit annoying and not nice in such special apartment

The staff is extremely helpful. From arranging a scooter for my mother to calling a taxi (and everything in between). Staff was always asking how our day was and always greeting us with a smile, especially the team at the breakfast and buffet. We felt very comfortable and very welcome in Fuengirola. We will definitely come back. Overall 10/10. We have no feedback for improvement, this is already above our expectations. Greetings from The Netherlands

Excellent hotel in a great location, fabulous staff,close to everything you might need easy walking as most areas in fuengirola are totally flat. We have already booked again for another visit soon !

The hotel is in an excellent location with the beach, shops and restaurants are within a walking distance. Our room was big, clean and well maintained. There’s underground parking but with tight turns. I would avoid attempting to navigate using a big car. All staff were professional, courteous, and helpful. Not sure if this is the city or the hotel but most guests were families and seniors, which was really good.

The breakfast was very nice. Varied food so everybody could find something to like. Also liked that use of the safe was free and that the the cleaning staff supplied coffee capsules and water every day. If you wanted to eat at the restaurant at night, the price was very acceptable compared to other hotels in Fuengirola(abt. half price). The only negative I would mention, was the noice at night time from restaurants near by, spesially in the weekends

Lovely hotel. Have stayed here several times. Can’t fault rooms, cleanliness, breakfast or staff. One small gripe, bar in lobby closes too early at 11 pm, midnight would be better.

Nice hotel with good breakfast and location in Fuengirola. Very near to the beach. Taxi service to airport was very good as well as breakfast. Hotel dinner closed quite early so needed to go outside every night. Hotel pool looked unapproachable as the water color was green.

The hotel had everything we wanted from it, with some nice touches like the coffee pod machine and towels which dried you off in seconds. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, catering for both my Dad who likes more traditional dishes and me who’s more adventurous. Perfectly situated for the promenade and both bus and train stations. Would come again.

Lovely hotel in a great location and literally 2 mins from the beach. The deluxe double room with a sea view that we booked was excellent and the view was amazing. We were a little disappointed with the pool as the water color was green and not very inviting. We did mention this to the reception staff who explained this as a problem and that is was been worked on.

Lovely hotel in good location opposite the marina. lovely staff, nice clean seaview room, kettle, coffee machine , small fridge in room , no extra charge for the safe either. Will definitely stay here again next year

Overall the hotel is good location very clean and modern. The staff were friendly. The pool was green - we did go in once as had been looking forward to it but you could see green around the edges and the bottom lining of the pool is all coming up meaning uneven. Really really disappointed. Don’t even take photos by the pool as it looks so green. Did ask several staff members and they just said it’s how it is

Great hotel so close to the beach and local bars, staff friendly and efficient. Asked for more coat hangers and within minutes they were there. As a vegetarian I do still think more choice would be good but it has got better since April.
