Leonardo Hotels Central Europe 2025 Wrap Up
For Leonardo Hotels Central Europe, 2025 has been a milestone year. We welcomed new destinations, expanded our portfolio with exciting hotel openings and continued shaping a more sustainable future across the region. Our brand family has grown stronger than ever: Leonardo Hotels, Leonardo Royal, Leonardo Boutique Hotels, NYX Hotels by Leonardo Hotels and Leonardo Limited Edition all played a key part in this year’s journey. Additionally, in 2025 we officially introduced master Serviced Apartments & Aparthotels to our brand universe, offering even more choice for extended-stay guests.
New Destinations in Central Europe
This year, we expanded our portfolio by adding three new destinations to our map: Mainz, Freiburg and Erfurt. Each city brings its own character, from wine culture along the Rhine to sunny southern charm and beautifully preserved medieval streets.

Moving Forward with Sustainability
Alongside our growth, sustainability remained a key focus in 2025. An increasing number of our hotels are achieving Green Key certification. Across our brand, we continued to implement energy-saving technologies, reduce single-use plastics, optimise food management and expand collaborations with regional producers. Many new openings already integrate these improvements from day one — small steps that together make a difference.
